During the ceremony, GB Auto announced the launch of three new models of Volvo Trucks: “Volvo FH, Volvo FM, and Volvo FMX”, which are the most fuel-efficient, and represent a strong addition to the heavy transport truck market in Egypt, with the latest technical capabilities and capabilities.
Volvo FH delivers the highest levels of driver comfort and safety, as well as enhanced productivity, with a towing capacity of up to 200 tons and the ability to reduce operating expenses including fuel consumption. It also has a chassis made of high-strength Swedish steel with a thickness of 8 mm and equipped with a 5 mm thick casing. The truck is available with four options for a 13-liter engine with a power ranging from 400 hp to 520 hp and a maximum torque from 2000 Nm up to 2500 Nm.
The Volvo FM combines excellent comfort, practicality and visibility with ease in and out of the cab and maneuverability on busy roads. The chassis is designed to suit any task. Powertrain options allow to meet customer needs. It features a high-strength Swedish steel chassis. With a thickness of 8 mm, it is available in three options for the 13-liter engine, with a power starting from 400 hp to 480 hp and a maximum torque from 2000 Nm up to 2400 Nm.
The Volvo FMX is the most powerful truck among Volvo trucks to date, and can handle the toughest roads and construction sites, and the cab offers more space and excellent visibility, and the Volvo FMX combines elegance in design and strength.
